Besides verses from the Bible, this is absolutely my favorite quote about modesty. Sometimes when we're out and about, I feel sorry for my husband, dad, brother, and male friends. Their eye-gates are constantly bombarded by immodestly clad women; consequently, they have to guard their eyes (and hearts) at all times. As Christian women, we shouldn't be contributing to the issue that the guys in our lives are facing.
If there's one place that a Christian man shouldn't have to worry about being around women who are immodestly dressed, it's church. Sure, there will be those random visitors who might dress differently. For the most part, though, the women he's around at church should be dressed in such a way that brings honor to God and is a blessing to her brothers in Christ.
This blog is going to be all about just that! I know it's hard to find modest clothes these days. When hemlines are creeping higher and higher and necklines are dipping lower and lower, it gets very frustrating to shop. It can be done, though, ladies! Not only that, it can be done without dressing like you're 70 (almost said 57 and then stopped and realized that my mom is 57 and changed the age).
So stick around for fun looks, good deals on modest clothing, and makeup and beauty tips that will help you look beautiful while still remaining modest.
